CORINA LIVESTOCK FARMS AND FIELDS
Cattle
In December 1997, the Group obtains all the actions of “CORINA Livestock Farms and Fields”, dedicated to raise and growth of cow cattle, and raising of Quarter Mile horse breed.
Today, the company counts with a stock of 17.000 producing wombs, and a complete stock of 38 to 40 thousand animals. This production is made in 5 farms, a Braford Cabin and one horse stable.
Braford Corina
Following the harsh rules of the evaluation and selection program, based on an artificial insemination process, and embryonic transference with a strict service assignation, CORINA produces predictable animals with a strong racial definition, separated and protected since the same birth, with a quality hallmark, that aloud to identify them in every aspect where they should rather reproduce or compete.
The main goal is to achieve the creation of excellent BRAFORD stud bulls, with a right orientation, viable in the commercial cattle conditions, and having a strong influence in Paraguayan cattle production improvement.
The BRAFORD CORINA Bulls are rustic and adapted to work without resting, walking a lot, and they possess the necessary ability to detect and inseminate the female cows, generating low weight calfs at birth, with a quick mass gaining through breastfeed phase, all this with a natural tendency to easy fatness and premature greasing. The BRAFORD CORINA females have a fertility hallmark of solid reproduction, giving every year one live calf for every cow exposed to the bull’s service.
